About the role

As a Specialist Manager, based at Five Rivers Health and Wellbeing centre, you will be the technical lead for aquatics and will work with a team of Aquatics professionals to ensure customer experience in our pools is of the very highest possible.

You will provide leadership and guidance to your staff to deliver results through higher participation numbers, a broad range of appropriate activities, increased income and high levels of customer satisfaction.

Five Rivers is often ranked as the busiest pool in the South West, so we need you to consolidate this and look for opportunities to further expand, to become the number one pool.

About you

You will have strong influencing skills and enjoy challenging situations whilst working in a fast-paced environment.

You will be pro-active, forward thinking and enthusiastic about swimming and will need to have an in-depth understanding and experience of the modern leisure industry as well as significant proven experience within aquatics.

Along with a minimum of 2 years’ experience of managing staff in a similar customer facing role you will be required to have a HND or higher diploma in relevant profession, or equivalent experience/skills, minimum Level 3 in management or equivalent experience.

Relocation packages are available subject to meeting our moving home allowance criteria.
